2) Express the angular velocity of 800 rad/sec in rev/sec ( to the nearest hundredth)?Ans: 127.I know the answers, but could you please show me the steps? Thanks.-1.......
1) One a flywheel with a 65.7 mm radius, how long is an arc subtended by a central angle of 263 degree?
Ans: 302 mm

2) Express the angular velocity of 800 rad/sec in rev/sec ( to the nearest hundredth)?
Ans: 127.32 rev/sec

I know the answers, but could you please show me the steps? Thanks.

1. length of arc = radius * angle (in radians)

263 degrees = (263π)/180

length of arc = ((263π)/180) (65.7) = 95.995π = 301.577... = 302 mm (3sf)

2. 1 revolution = 2π radians

1 rev/rad = 1/(2π)

rev/rad * rad/sec = rev/sec

(1/(2π)) (800) = 127.3239... = 127.32 (5sf)
