Ten: 109,530
Hundred: 109,500
Thousand: 110,000

You look at the place that you have to round to. Then look at the digit right next to it. When rounding to the tens place, I looked at 2 and then I looked at 6. The magic number is 5. If the number to the right of it is 5 or greater, then you round your number up. If the number right next to it is 4 or less, you keep it the same. Since 6 is larger than the magic number, I rounded the 2 up to a 3 and it became 109,530. When rounding to the hundreds place, I looked at 5 and then I looked at the 2. 2 is less than the magic number so I kept the 5 the same and the answer was 109,500. When rounding to the thousands place, I looked at the 9 and then the 5 next to it. 5 is the magic number so I rounded the 9 up to a 10 and it became 110,000.
