.. so my question is... which angle is 34°?......
sharon is flying a kite on a string 130m long. determine the height of the kite if the string is at an angle of 34° to the ground.
[the angle is xx° to the ground... so my question is... which angle is 34°? is this the one that with the ground or...?]
thx =)

Height = 72.7 m

Excuse my drawing. I did this quickly.

sin(theta) = opp/hyp

sin(34) = x/130m

Solve for x

130sin(34) = x

x = 72.695

the 34 degree angle is between the string and the ground. Draw a picture! That always helped me
