Small signal equivalent circuit?

So, for small signal equivalent circuit should i use T model ?And, in that equivalent circuit, should the resistance R1 be placed between base and ground (with parallel to R2) ?Thanks in advance.......
In this photo, the emitter (of the BJT) is not grounded, there is a resistance Re. So, for small signal equivalent circuit should i use T model ? And, in that equivalent circuit, should the resistance R1 be placed between 'base' and ground (with parallel to R2) ?
Thanks in advance.
