A MOSFET does not have a gate saturation voltage. It does have a maximum voltage, typically +-20V. The gate voltage can be anywhere in this range. NMOSFET conducts for Vgs > +Vth, PMOSFET conducts for Vgs < - Vth..

The other answer is pretty good. Usually MOSFETs used as switches are driven to 10 or 15 volts to ensure the device is fully on, but not in danger of gate to source voltage breakdown. I have no idea what pass through voltage is. The gate drive voltage is not a function of the drain voltage or drain current.
