t = 8.= 25 x 8.= 206.Welcome to Y!Answers........
Whats the take off speed and how did you calculate it? thanks.

This is the general formula:

S = 1/2 a t^2 + Vo t

V = a t + Vo

where:
S: distance
a: acceleration
Vo: initial speed
t: time
V: final speed

In your case:
Known: a = 25 m/s^2, S = 850 m, Vo = 0 (no initial speed)
Asked: V

S = 1/2 a t^2 + Vo t
850 = 1/2 x 25 x t^2 + 0
850 = 12.5 t^2
t^2 = 68
t = 8.25 s

V = a t + Vo
= 25 x 8.25 + 0
= 206.25 m/s

Vto = √[2*a*x] = 206 m/s
