I already told him I am a fifth year. I am taking engineering classes with him and his friend. They also in my construction class. They want to be my partners. The guy told me that they don't know much about construction but they are hardworking.
That is ok bc I don't know much either! However, I googled the guy name and he pop up on the dean list of my university. He has a gpa that above 3.5 during his junior year in a engineering major!

I think the guys don't want to praise themselves , and let their work and contribution tell about them, what makes difference to you if they told you or not, I think that is something personal will never cause harm to you if they did not mention it , above all why you don't ask them indirectly and see what they will tell you,
