Christopher Columbus is known to have discovered the earths round shape.Aristotle accepted the spherical shape of the Earth on empirical grounds around 330 BC..Pythagoras..But cavemen?......
I doubt very much whether they even thought about it. Such a question is of an abstract nature and cavemen were probably more interested in practical matters such as killing off the saber-toothed tigers which were constantly threatening their lives. Likewise they would be more interested in getting out to hunt for food surrounded bu such ever-present dangers.
