Forgo the oceans.

Using the diameter of the earth at the equator, and the formula Area =4 divided by 3 times pi times the radius cubed, it would be 4 over 3 times 3.14 times 3963.41 times 3963.41 times 3963.41 square miles. About 29.2 percent of the earth's surface is land

In round numbers .3 times 4 over 3 times 3 times 64 billion square miles. With a population of 7 billion that leaves about 7 square miles per person.

You'd better check my math, though.wiki.answers.com/Q/What_percentag…
