Percentage composition by mass question

Fe = 29.7%, Carbon, C = 19.2%, Oxygen,......
Okay so I have a question that I sort-of understand, but..

An ionic compound has the following percentage composition by mass:
Iron, Fe = 29.7% , Carbon, C = 19.2%, Oxygen, O = 51.1%
Also given, that the molar mass of the compound is 376 g/mole.
Determine the formula of the compound in correct form and name the compound.

um, i've only done questions that just give the percentage composition by mass of the compounds, and then I used "100g of compound" to determine the empirical formula. This question gives a molar mass of the entire compound, which confused me and I don't understand what to do with the molar mass of the compound.. to find the formula of this compound..
erm.. yeah, bit confused. help pleeassee.. :o

we need to work on 100 g of compound

if we tabluate the mass in 100g and calculate the mole sof each element we can get the empirical formula

element : Fe | C | O
Atomic Mass : 55.845 | 12.011 | 15.999
mass 29.7 | 19.2 | 51.1
check mass : 100.000
we calculate the number of moles by dividing the mass by the atomic mass
# moles : 0.53183 | 1.59853 | 3.19395
molar ratio 0.53183 : 1.59853 : 3.19395
smallest No : 0.53183
divide by the smallest No. : 1.000 : 3.006 : 6.006

empirical formula is FeC3O6

empirical formula mass is 187.8741 g which is 1/2 the molar mass
so the molecular formula is

Fe2C6O12 ... iron oxalate
