How to solve a simple HALF-LIFE question

3182 = 0.If 0.802 remains, then 0.198 has decayed.Not sure where the 42% comes into play.......
The isotope of a certain element has a half life of 22 years. What percentage of a pure element sample prepare in may 2002, would have decayed by May 2009?

The answer it gives is 42%, but I'm not sure that's right because when I solve it, I get 80%.

Thanks for the help.

7 years/22 years = 0.3182 (this is how many half-lives have elapsed)

(1/2)^0.3182 = 0.802 (this is the decimal amount _remaining_)

If 0.802 remains, then 0.198 has decayed.

Not sure where the 42% comes into play.
