6 times the column height of Hg.If one atm is 760 mm Hg, that ist 760*13.6 = 10336 mm H2O = 10.......
If water was to be used instead of Hg in a barometer how high would that column be at 1 atm?

d Hg = 13.6 g/mL
d H2O = 1.00 g/mL
d H2O = 10.3 m
h = 760 mm

The density of Hg is 13.6 times the density of water. Therefore the column height of water will be 13.6 times the column height of Hg. If one atm is 760 mm Hg, that ist 760*13.6 = 10336 mm H2O = 10.3 m H2O
