which is in the 6th level. So, because the last electron of the Na is closer to the nucleus, it is more attracted by electric forces.Hope it is useful. Greetings my friend.......
True or false ?

It is false. Remember that the ionization energy is the energy necessary to take an electron from the atom.

Both Cs and Na have only one electron in their last level, so they have a low ionization energy, but Na's is higher because it last electron is in the third level, so is closer to the nucleus, than the last electron of the Cs, which is in the 6th level.

So, because the last electron of the Na is closer to the nucleus, it is more attracted by electric forces.

Hope it is useful. Greetings my friend.
