does,
-2 emit more energy or does -1 emit more energy?
It's about an electronic transition in a hydrogen atom ? but I already did the problem, just wondering which EMITS more energy.
Now I know (+)2 absorbs more energy than (+)1.
But what about emitting the most, -2 or -1? Thank you.

As the the electron orbit no. increases so does the energy. Higher the electron more energy it emits.
1.5 x 10^-18 is more than 4.5 x 10^-19 the minus sign indicating that energy is released when e occupies an orbital
