7/8x + 3/4 = 1/2x + 3/2
I don't even know where to start.
Would you multiply the entire equation
by 8/7? o-O??
Please explain! I already know the answer.

7/8x+3/4=1/2x+3/2
-3/4 -3/4
7/8x=1/2x+3/4
-1/2x -1/2x
3/8x=3/4
----- -----
3/8 3/8
x=2
-3/4 -3/4
7/8x=1/2x+3/4
-1/2x -1/2x
3/8x=3/4
----- -----
3/8 3/8
x=2

so you need to make them all have commen denominators...
7/8x + 3/4 = 1/2x + 3/2
so then it would be
7/8x + 6/8 = 4/8x + 12/8
then combine like terms... so subtract 6/8 from both sides...
7/8 = 4/8x + 6/8
then subtract 4/8 so its
4/8x = 6/8
then you would divide both sides by 4/8 so
x = 3/8
