Scientific Notation/ Weight problem

... weight is expressed in newtons,......
A pain-relieving pill has a mass of 0.005 . Express the pill’s mass in grams using scientific notation or in milligrams.

The weight of an object is the product of its mass, m, and the acceleration of gravity, g (where g=9.8m/s ). If an object’s mass is m=10. kg , what is its weight?

I wish I has an answer to say for the both, but I'm pretty lost on both of these. I know they are pretty easy but I don't know where to start. Thank you for any help.

5x10^-3 g
and
0.005 g x (1000 mg / 1) = 5 mg

F = ma .... Newton's second law. F is the force of gravity, what we commonly call "weight"
F = 10. kg x 9.8m/s^2 = 98 N .... weight is expressed in newtons, 1N = 1 kgm/s^2
