Finding the mass of this 100grams

So the question is, determine the mass of water and the mass of residual compound in 100g of the unknown hydrate using your answers from questions 1&2.

Questions 1&2 wanted to know % of water and then what was left over in the unknown hydrate, which was 42% and 58% residual.

So would't it just be 42 grams of water and 58 grams of residual in the unknown hydrate compound (since its out of 100 grams)?
