XaurreauX say: Probably because the majority of atheists can put a proper sentence together..
-
Huh!? say: You are wrong. There are some Christian denominations which believe that God created life on earth using the principles of evolution.
-
say: It is not so. Many religious do too. They simply claim a God created evolution. Evolution doesn't go against a faith so I don't know why all the worry about it. Evolution is scientific fact that is easily proven so confirm your religion with more lies to prop the gods up instead of fighting science or you look really stupid. Religion is a mental illness and all psychiatrists know that fact. It is delusional thinking in imaginary beings. Do you have an imaginary friend named Jesus? I have an easter bunny that talks to me.
-
Colin say: Your question is ambiguous.
You imply that atheists are in the majority. In many places, that is not so.
If you mean that the majority of atheists accept the reality of evolution, it is hard to see what alternative is available to those of us who contend that there is insufficient evidence of any god.

Chances68 say: Uhm...?
Catholics have accepted evolution as fact since the 1920's, and anyone, regardless of their religious affiliation, who is at all rational about the topic understands that evolution is a scientific fact. It's only the religious fanatics and arch-conservatives of several ridiculous religions that argue against it.
-
mark say: It helps them deny Jesus.
-
Sookey say: The majority of Christians worldwide accept evolution. Creationism is mostly a thing among backwards US fundamentalists.
-
*/* say: Because ignorant Christian dumb@$$es invent alternative facts all day long and spew lies incessantly. Only a small minority of rabidly uneducated indoctrinated and just plain stupid religitard nutters are brain dead enough to reject the obvious and well-proved facts of biological evolution and most of those are the stupid fundie American Protestant evangelicals who voted Trump into the WH.
