Likewise you will find that only a mere majority of Christians (and most modern Theists) support evolution. You are going to be sorely disappointed if a majority is not good enough for you, there are very few things in life which do not have an exception, so you aren't going to find many things that an absolute 100% support.

Rex say: this is unlikely to be true the majority of people support evolution it is only problematic among fundamentalist protestant circles that strangely insist on the world being under 10000 years old

SBR32277 say: First I would say that there are not that many of us atheists compared to the amount of theists so getting to a majority would be easier. Second, evolution is somewhat common sense and we don't have the superstitious bias interfering with that common sense. I suspect more and more theists are supporting evolution. I believe the Catholic Church recently accepted evolution as they attempt to shed some of the superstition that has defied common sense for quite some time now.

-
Samwise say: Actually, a majority of us Christians--even here in the intellectual backwaters of the United States--understand that the theory of evolution has been proven true.
-
Cato say: Not only atheists but others as well. It's them being deceived into believing evolution is true, when it's not. http://kolbecenter.org/the-traditional-c...
