I am studying for a test and this is one of the review questions. This question will not be graded, it is just for review. I am having a little trouble with it. Can anyone help?
Even though red-green color blindness is a recessive trait, can a female have red-green color blindness? Explain your answer, including the genotype of a female with red-green color blindness

Of course. Red-green colour blindness is on the X chromosome. If a female inherits an X chromosome with the colour blindness allele from both parents, then she will be colour blind.
A genotype would be XcXc where c is the recessive allele causing colour blindness. The chromosome she inherits from her father would have to be Xc and his genotype would be XcY and her mother would either have to be XcXc or XCXc to pass on the affected X.
