My boyfriend has dark green eyes and I have light blue, which eye color is more dominant? We both have brown hair and both of our parents have brown hair, so we know the baby will have brown. His mom has blue eyes I have blue eyes and my mom and dad have blue eyes, but he and his dad have green. So since there are more blue eyes in the family does that effect the eye color of the child as well?

There is about a 1 out of 4 chance that the baby will have blue eyes. Green is dominant since blue is actually a birth defect. (No offense. They are very pretty) No onto hair. It will probably have brown hair but there are some instances where babies with brown haired parents and grandparents have blonde hair. Its just a matter of reccesive genes coming into the DNA of the fetus.

Eye colour or hair for that matter is not a simple trait controlled by a single gene or even two - it is a complex trait controlled by the interaction of many different genes, each of which contains multiple variant sites It is not yet fully understood. However, it is true to say that there is no standard pattern of dominant or recessive. With at least 10 genes involved and each of those containing many possible variants there is more than one combination of genetic variants that can create an eye colour that we recognise as blue or green or any other colour. Dominant and recessive don't exist in such a system in the way we would understand from school genetics lessons.
Eye colour is the outcome of interactions of the variants at these genes and as yet there is no way of predicting the outcome from two parents - they could easily have a child with eye colour different from either parent.
So a truthful answer is that nobody can predict something as complex as eye colour, because the inheritance remains as yet unknown. You could back this up by looking at eye colour on Wikipedia for example or if you are feeling more adventurous, delving into the huge amount of recent research in this area.
If you have a baby, you will have to wait to see the end result, just like everyone else!

It is kind of confusing but if you look up Gregor Mendel's Punnett Square, you can probably figure out what color he/she will have. I tried to make one for you, but I don't know what the reccesive and dominant alleles are. Sorry :(
