What does ethane and propene produce when burnt in excess oxygen

Thanks! :)-Whenever hydrocarbons are combusted (w/ O2), they always produce H2O and CO2.In short, it doesnt matter if its butane or pentane.They produce the same things,......

If I'm not wrong, they produce the same products. What are they, and why do they produce the same products?

Whenever hydrocarbons are combusted (w/ O2), they always produce H2O and CO2.

In short, it doesn't matter if it's butane or pentane. They produce the same things, but at different amounts
