What causes you to reject the testimonies for the existences of ghosts

There is absolutely no evidence of the existence of ghost beyond a reasonable doubt. Most pictures or videos of ghost can with the right programs or equipment be proven to be fakes or tricks of the camera. Not only that but anyone with two brain cells can discern that the EVP can be easily faked....in fact it is no evidence at all.

Also people especially those who go about making paranormal claims have been proven to be experts at bull****, just ask Penn and Teller.

Because it's easy to make things up. Anyone can publish a book; there's no oversight to make them prove what they are saying is true. Many people manage to fool themselves even if they don't think they're lying, but that certainly doesn't mean what they're saying is actually true. It's very easy to fake videos. There are plenty of professional thermal imaging cameras (not the crappy ones easily purchased by amateur ghost hunters) but the scientists using them actually know what they're doing, which is why we don't see ghosts on them. Look up white noise. Everything you said here is easy to fake or lie about. That's why I don't accept anecdotes, and why science doesn't either. The only acceptable evidence of ghosts is a ghost. Produce a ghost we can study. Otherwise, give it up.
