Besides the fact that vampires are technically dead may interfere with their ability to procreate.Vampires could only exist through non existent supernatural powers.......
ire mates with a human female, how many chromosomes would the offspring have per cell?

What method what you use to get this answer.. and how?

-
Meiosis for vampire, gamete = 26
Meiosis for human female. Gamete = 23

Both gametes fertilise = 26 + 23
Zygote= 49
Offspring will therefore have 49 if fertilization was successful and if offspring survives

-
Even if vampires did exist humans and vampires would not be able to mate as they are genetically isolated from one another (ie are different species), and reproductively isolating mechanisms both pre zygotic (before fertilisation) and post zygotic (after fertilisation) would ensure this. The vampire sperm would not be able to penetrate the human egg and vice versa. If in the off circumstances a zygote is formed between the two it is most likey that it would not form properly and die shortly after it is conceieved. If the zygote did survive it would be inviable or produce inviable offspring.

However vampires do not exist anyway.

A vampire makes not sense biologically. First of all without a heart beat or oxygen, energy can't be released and distributed to cells in the body. There would be no point in drinking blood because the vampires body would never be able to distribute it's energy. Genes wouldn't make sense since cells wouldn't be functional. Not to mention the fact that the sunlight that reaches earth has no where near the energy to set a vampire on fire. What would be the point in putting a wooden stake in a vampires heart as the heart does not function. Besides the fact that vampires are technically dead may interfere with their ability to procreate.

Vampires could only exist through non existent supernatural powers.

Simple: vampires do not exist
