Are Uranus’s satellites still located near Uranus’s equatorial plane even though Uranus has an extreme degree of axial tilt?

answers:
Morningfox say: Most of them (14) are near Uranus' equator, within 4.3 degrees. The nine outermost of them have inclinations ranging from 51 degrees to 167 degrees ( = -13 degrees).

No.

Clive say: Yes.
-
Ronald 7 say: Yes they do
The Axial tilt must have happened before the moons

tham153 say: Some are along the equator. The 13 closest moons are all within one degree of the equator. #14, Miranda, is 4.232 degrees. The four big moons are all within less than 0.1 degree. But moons 19 (Francisco) through 27 (Ferdinand) range from 51 to 164 degrees from the planet's equator

Atheist Dude say: Yes indeed

quantumclaustrophobe say: They are, as are it's rings. At certain points during it's orbit - from Earth, if you could see it - it would look like an archery target, almost...

aladdinwa say: Yes.
-
YKhan say: Yes, the satellites follow its equatorial plane.
-
Eddie say: Well yes - when you think about it, there's no up or down, it's all relative.

poldi2 say: Yes, the moons of Uranus orbit in the planet's equatorial plane.
-
CarolOklaNola say: No. If you really mean near Uranus' equatorial plane, then the answer is Yes.
The orbital planes of some of the moons are tilted, just like the orbital plane of the Moon is tilted 5.12° to Earth's equatorial plane.
