Does the universe include both space and time(past, present and future)?

-------------------------------------------------------

answers:
CarolOklaNola say: Yes, the Universe includes all of space and time, past, present and future. That is why it is called the space - time continuum
-
Adullah M say: Since its contain entity of time as being finite, Then it must have the beginning , continuation of the present time and the time to come which is the future that would move on to its ending. Then there is PPF in the system of the universe.
-
Cat say: Ha good question! I think there is not any answer for it yet - the universe is a four-dimensional (well, maybe it has more dimension, but those weren't observed) manifold - which means space is curved, and time is influenced by this curvature. In fact, there is no time without space and viceversa - so we call it space-time.

In my opinion (and I am a physics student - not too pro, but not too ignorant) there is an "universal" present, however, as you increase distance between obects, it will take more and more time to reach their present, which will of course become their future - but it will still be present when you experience it.

In short, your question seems to ask whether the information about past, present and future is stored somewhere, whether it exists at the same "time"... Well, no person on earth could answer precisely, only someone living in 5D could answer this.

Imagine: There is an ant moving on a sheet of paper. While it moves on it, it cannot know whether the piece of paper where it has been is still there, because the paper is all the same. But you, a human holding it, can tell that the paper exists, and it does not depend on the movement of the ant.

So are we, limited chunks of existence, wondering if our universal paper of space-time is still there, forever....

P.S. I hope I didn't confuse you.

David say: Yes, as for example some of the stars you see in the night sky no longer exists because of the time taken for their light to reach Earth.
-
say: Sure does. Just ask Thanos.
-
John say: yes
