I'm not saying we can find E.T. or have evidence, they may or may not exist at all, but in this section it's impossible to talk about it because you guys don't want to talk about it at all. Keep in mind, one day our beautiful glorious planet is not going to be around forever. We're either all...

Raymond say: There is no evidence at all that there is life elsewhere.
There is no evidence that life is impossible elsewhere.
Everything in between is possible, but, for now, is only wishful thinking.
Because life already exists (on Earth), then the probability of life (elsewhere) should not be exactly zero (the statistical equivalent of wishful thinking). Therefore, the bigger the chunk of the unverse we consider, the closer the probability of life elsewhere should get to 100%.
As we better understand the harsh conditions that exist in the universe (it is definitely NOT a life-friendly place), the closer the probability of life elsewhere should get to 0%.
If you extend this to an infinite universe, it becomes consistent with Kolmogorov's Law.

Quadrillian say: The fact is that there is absolutely no evidence of life anywhere else except on Earth. We have already searched with the best instruments and methodologies ever likely to be used. We found nothing. That is a fact.
The real question, the really, really interesting question is a psychological one: why are do many people so easy convince that for some bizarre reason there "must be" life up there. Why do so many people WANT to believe in spooks up in the sky? Why is so much effort put into this subject by large heavily funded organisations? What is the agenda? Why is it that despite all the zero results from every search ever mounted, people still insist that space boogiemen "must exist"? These are the questions that you really should be asking.
