If you think scientists are highly paid, become one. Scientist pay - $60 to $100 an hour, $80 an hour if they are lucky. My lawyer charges $350 an hour and she's just on the bottom rung of law, can't defend a client in court. There are accountants and lawyers in your town who make a lot more than just about any scientists anywhere.
This has nothing to do with the poisonous and stupid politics of the USA. it's a fact whether you believe it or not and no matter what the political jerks and paid sock puppets you believe in say.

He hasn't killed space exploration, he has simply been using his brain and actually listened to the 1000s of global scientists screaming at us to wake up to Climate Change. Instead of conjuring up ridiculous conspiracy theories with not a shred of evidence to back them up. Space exploration is interesting but it's hardly going to save us and our wildlife from rising sea levels, droughts, famines and water shortages that are all to come.
At this rate of going, there will be an Ice-free North Pole within 50 years, completely down to human emissions. Just wait. We will know exactly who to point the finger at when our Children ask us in 60yrs time - "Why there is so little wildlife and why there are is so much extreme weather?" - Answer: The GOP
