Athena say: I might not pay my cable bill this afternoon like I planed.
-
Gary B say: Nothing.
There is nothign we COULD do.
-

-
poornakumar b say: nothing

Poseidon say: Hi No Summertime,
Goodbye to all human, animal and plant, in fact all life, because the moon is just over a quarter the size of Earth and it would be impossible to destroy it or knock it of its course using conventional methods.
It is likely the Earth would either be split in at least two or it would shatter completely at the impact of such a great object and the force it emitted.
On top of this the moon is actually very slowly moving away from the Earth.

say: we would have to nuke it and blow it up then hope for the best and only some of the big fragments hit earth and life will continue
-
say: What if you developed intelligence? That's about as likely.
-
John say: All life on earth would cease and we would die. Even what was left over, without the moon the Earth's axis would then be able to stray, eventually putting Earth perpendicular with the Sun causing extreme deadly heat on one side and extreme deadly cold on the other. Mankind would not survive nor any animal or plant species. Perhaps just a few kinds of bacteria, but those would likely go extinct as well.
-
Alex say: Die.
But that's not going to be a concern as the moon is currently falling away from Earth.
