What is the sight range of celestrial 127EQ powerseeker telescope

A more important measure of a telescope is its aperture, the diameter of its mirror, which tells you how much light it can gather and concentrate, and how fine its resolution is. This telescope has a 127mm aperture, which is a bit on the small side.......
actually i'm really ignorant about telescopes.but i'm interested in astronomy.how far can i see by this?plz explain it.

Any telescope will let you see much farther than the naked eye. Even with the naked eye you can see things as far away as 3 billion light years: the Andromeda Galaxy. A more important measure of a telescope is its aperture, the diameter of its mirror, which tells you how much light it can gather and concentrate, and how fine its resolution is. This telescope has a 127mm aperture, which is a bit on the small side. The "EQ" tells you that it's on an equatorial mount. In some cases this is an advantage, but the mount in this case is rather flimsy. All in all, I would not recommend this telescope. A better choice would be a reflector with a larger mirror, 150 to 250mm, on a simple solid Dobsonian mount.

Here are a few web pages with good information on beginner's telescopes:

For more advanced information, read Phil Harrington's Star Ware, 4th edition (Wiley).

You'll get the greatest value for your money with a Newtonian reflector on a Dobsonian mount, such as these:

Buy from a store which specializes in telescopes and astronomy, either locally or online; don't buy from department stores, discount stores or eBay as mostly what they sell is junk. Find your local astronomy club and try out different telescopes at one of their star parties:

I strongly recommend that beginners steer clear of astrophotography until they have learned their way around the sky. Astrophotography is by far the most expensive and difficult area of amateur astronomy.

Many people who buy telescopes have no idea how to find interesting things to observe. A good introduction to finding things is NightWatch by Terence Dickinson (Firefly). A more advanced book is Star Watch by Phil Harrington (Wiley).

Telescopes aren't measured in how far you can see but in how much light is gathered. Bigger telescopes get more light so clearer images. A way to make you understand is in camera megapixels - higher the number the clearer the image.
With a lot of light then you can see many very far objects but that's not to say you can't see them with your naked eye.
A 127mm is small as reflectors go, you really want at least 150mm. The mount is also a bit flimsy on that model, you really want at least a EQ3 or as celestron call it, the CG4 (the celestron has better legs).

One company not to be overlooked is Sky Watcher - the same parent company as Celestron and very ofetn the same telescopes. Have a look at their Dobsonian range, basically a newtonian reflector but on a rockerbox mount, saving you money so you can get better telescopes for the same money.
