The purpose of the universe is to exist. It serves no other purpose. It is a place where civilizations rise and fall and nothing more. There's no motive to the universe it just simply exists and no human mind can truly comprehend the concept of that existence that before the universe there was pure nothing not light no life now blackness or whiteness absolutely nothing like looking through an endless openess of crystal clear with absolutely nothing inside of it

For humans to expand and colonize on other planets in the next 1000-10,000 years. At least that's my thought about it.
What is the purpose for trees on Earth other than the fact that they look pretty. They make a good home for bugs and animals and they provide a great resource.

"Purpose" is a uniquely human concept. The Universe is neutral and does not have a "purpose" in human terms; it simply exists.

Humans need everything to have some purpose, but nature doesn't.
Things exist without having a purpose or reason.
