How do I find the period of a sinusoidal wave

......
I have a graph and the first crest is at pi/6 and the second crest is 7pi/6 (one whole wave from pi/6 to 7pi/6). Can someone explain how I find the period? Is the period 8pi/6?

-
The period is 7π/6 - π/6 = π.

-
the period would just be the subtraction of the two values, 6pi/6 = pi.
