7% nitrogen. Find its empirical formula and its molecular formula if its RMM is 225.2.-If RMM means regular molar mass then multiplythat by .187 for N and see how many times the molecular weight of N goes into that number. Should be about 2.......
1) Calculate the percentage composition of iron(II) nitrate 6-water Fe(NO3)2.6H2O, otherwise referred to as “iron nitrate hexahydrate” – the normal form of iron(II) nitrate hexahydrate produced by crystallisation from water.

2.) A compound has the following composition by mass: 32.0% carbon, 6.71% hydrogen, 42.6% oxygen and 18.7% nitrogen. Find its empirical formula and its molecular formula if its RMM is 225.2.

If RMM means regular molar mass then multiply that by .187 for N and see how many times the molecular weight of N goes into that number. Should be about 2. So N2 would be part of your answer. Now do that for the others

Well, I would suggest you look in the textbook that you most likely have in your possession, and read it.
