When the Sun eventually dies out will a new one be formed

.Birth of a star:A star is born from a nebula (not a planetary nebula); a cloud of interstellar matter. At the center of this cloud the matter congregates together into a star; and lumps may form along the periphery (which become planets; there are alternative theories about planets though)...Hence a new star will not replace the sun.......

Some time after that, it will eject its outer layers (after running out of helium) and only have a glowing core left (This is called a planetary nebula; do not confuse it with a nebula). The planetary nebula will fade into a white dwarf star which will eventually lose all its energy and become a black dwarf...

Thanks for the question; it was a good one!!!

@Von: The earth will die long before the white dwarf stage
@Von: How the hell do you my name?????
And its AMBAR for godssake (It means sky in Hindi)

The only organisms remotely capable of surviving the red giant stage are deep sea sulphur bacteria (remotely). No matter what, it will be the end of the Earth AS WE KNOW IT!!

No, the Sun will burn out and become a white dwarf star. As the core contracts, however, the outer layer of the Sun will bloat to swallow all the inner planets including possibly the Earth. Even if the Earth is not engulfed, the bloated Sun will expand enough to scorch whatever life might remain on our ill-fated planet's surface. There is little escape from our date with doom five billion years from now. No new Sun will replace it.

No.
It uses Hydrogen(and then Helium) as it's fuel which will ultimately come to an end.
The Sun will then become a ' White Dwarf '.
And that will be the end of our Sun and hence that of the Earth(If it remains till then).

@ Amber, the earth may end much before(maybe at 2012......lol),there are very little chances
that it will survive till that stage. But,what if that very little chance pops-up.It's almost impossile but yet possible. But after that the earth definitely can't survive and that point is it's sure death.
