Best Planetary Telescope Lense

Orion (Ultrascopics), and University Optics (orthoscopics). For a bit more money, you can get more eye relief with Tele Vue Radians and Orion Edge-On Planetaries. 5mm would be a good focal length with your telescope (240x).-Hi,......
I would like to know what you believe is the best "Mid-High Ranged" Priced Planetary telescope lense.

If you have any othersuggestions in different price ranges, those would be appreciated.

It would be for a 10" Dobsonian Reflector. (Orion XT10)

They're called "eyepieces," not "lenses." Eyepieces contain lenses, but are called eyepieces.

The best planetary eyepieces are high quality Plössls or orthoscopics, such as those made my Tele Vue (Plössls), Orion (Ultrascopics), and University Optics (orthoscopics). For a bit more money, you can get more eye relief with Tele Vue Radians and Orion Edge-On Planetaries. 5mm would be a good focal length with your telescope (240x).

Hi,
you don't mention the focal length of 10" Dobsonian Reflector.
The magnification (or focal length) of the eyepiece depends on the focal length of the telescope (the big mirror). (i'll assume it's focal length is 1200mm, f/4.7 focal ratio)

(Short focal lengths are bit of a problem for some eyepiece designs)

Generally an Orthoscopic or "Abbe"‎ eyepiece is what i would choose for planetary work.
(a bonus is that they are also quite cheap).

"High quality Japanese manufactured Orthoscopics utilising the original design developed by Ernst Abbe. Baader call the range 'Genuine Orthos' to distinguish them from other 'Orthos' not utilising Abbe's original design. Baader Genuine Orthos offer comfortable eye relief and a generous 47 degree field of view. "

To determine the magnification divide the focal length of the telescope by the focal length of the eyepiece. Long focal length eyepieces such as 40mm and 25mm will give lower magnification, while lower numbers like 10mm and 5mm will give higher magnification.
The maximum magnification of your telescope is theoretically 500X, however a magnification of about 40 to 150 times will give decent views (dependant on seeing conditions and targets).
Really high magnifications make tracking a hassle in a dobsonian.

The 10mm eyepiece should give you 120 x magnification.
