Today, a butterfly landed on my mom and she decided to bring him home and show him to me (don't worry, he's outside now), and I'm trying to identify the butterfly. I used some butterfly guides, but they didn't really help.
Description of butterfly:
The main color of the inner part of the wings is a very dark brown, almost black, with a slightly reddish tint. Along the edges of the wings, there is dark yellow/beige color, and along that color are blue dots. There are two white dots on the top of each wing.
The main color of the outer part of the wings is black, and the color along the edges is a slightly darker yellow/beige color with spots of very light brown.
Is it possible to identify the butterfly with this information?
