4. Good communication, understanding of position, ability to work in all types of environments, etc
5. Go to school, get work experience and apply for jobs when they open.
6. That the vast majority of zoo adult visitors are clueless but their children are smarter.
7. No exact amount but very very few ever make over 100k a year and those are top brass people. Most tend to make in the low to mid 20s an hour.
8. Very rewarding, how many people can say they work with exotics on a daily basis. Get to meet people from all over the world and help with conservation around the world.
9. Enough pay to survive on. Good medical, believe or not there are some that do not even offer it. The ablity to move up to higher paying jobs or non-starter positions.
10. No two days are the same but of course the basics are cleaning and feeding.
11. Of course being injured by dangerous animals. Depending on what you work with chemicals can be involved. There is also the risk of illness of disease from the animals too. Know though that though safety measures and protocol are there accidents can happen.

13. Exact hours can be different from zoo to zoo but usually they are shifts that start a few hours before the park opens to a few hours after the park closes. Of course there are times when overtime is involved in the event an animal is sick or giving birth and needs watched or when animals are being shipped out or come in.

16. My current job at the zoo does not involve that but that list has contained... bears, wolves, eagles, otters, cougars, wolverines, snakes, birds, hoofstock, parrots and a mess of others.
