We have to make our own bacteria. (Like not grow it just make one up and draw it on paper)
So I've decided to make it an archaebacteria type, which means it grows in extreme areas (such as super cold or super hot places). Where should i have it be located at ? A lake or an ocean or a desert, etc..
Should i make it rod , circular, or spiral shaped ? What color too ?
How should it get it's energy and what should it produce ? And what's it's ecological role ?
And finally, what should the name be ?
I don't really understand how to do this, so if anyone who's done this before can help, that'd be great ! Or if i could see some examples (:

You could make it a chemosynthetic one that grows in hot springs somewhere. That's more of the extreme kind of environment that archaea live in. Chemosynthetic means instead of taking in sunlight like plants, it fixes other gases to make energy. It's ecological role would then be a primary producer for the other organisms nearby. It's totally your call on the rest.
