You know when there's a little 2 next to a number, it means squared?
and when there's a little 3, it means cubed,
what does it mean when there's a little 4?
and how would you work it out?

-
to the power of 4

Say you have x^4; it means x*x*x*x

-
if it is raised ^2 or ^3, ^4 is

sqaured just means multiply the number by itself 2x

cubed means do it 3x

and 4 means do it 4x

ex 2^2 =4 (2*2)

2^3 = 8 (2*2*2)

2^4 = 16 (2*2*2*2)

it is just the number of times you multiply the number by itself

-
to the power of 4, N x N x N x N

-
It's simply read "to the fourth power". Three to the fourth power, i.e. 3^4, is 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 = 81.

-
squared squared is what it means
