I don't understand where wind comes from...

Wind occurs when a large amount of people exhale at the same time. So, when a breeze impacts you, you are really being hit with the exhaled air of about 3 million people. Enjoy!

The earth's surface is heated by the Sun. However, this heating is uneven. The uneven areas of heating create areas of high pressure, and low pressure. Wind is created as air moves from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure.

It's to do with the air dropping from high pressure to low pressure or vise verser i think, if you look on the weather forecasts they show tight isobars, isobars are how deep pressure is and the tighter the isobars are the stronger the winds
