I was outside covering my Jeep as a storm was moving in. I knew lightning struck but I couldn't tell where and I felt funny all over. My thumb was touching the Jeep and it felt all tingly like getting shocked by a spark plug and then thunder directly above me. My heart started pounding as I ran inside.

Sounds like you were very close to being struck by lightning. The tingly feelings was actually, a charge being built up near or on you. You're lucky you are alive.
