How to do a initial Value problem, am i right

Thanks-You can solve for y first, or you could solve for the initial value first.Personally, I like to solve for the initial value first (even if anything attached to the y-variable is crazy looking), since it means you dont really have to back-track later on.Theres no real difference,......
First, i am given a function saying y(prime)=blahx*(y^blah), and y(blah)=blah
To do this probelm do i seperate the x's and y's to different sides, then intergrate.
After that do i plug in the initial values or do i have to solve for y first, or does it even make a difference?
Thanks

There's no real difference, just what's more comfortable for you
