Why is the world supposedly going to end tonight at 6pm

I know its probably not gunna happen but what are people saying is going to happen, and why?

They believe it's a rapture. People who fallow Jesus & God are taken back. Some are left behind to witness 5 months of Tribulation. Actually it was predicted that October 21st is the actual doomsday were the whole universe ends. Today was just the rapture that happens before the Tribulation. During that period it is said the ones who are left behind will perish. Famine & catastrophic events are predicted. Honestly, it's NOT happening. No one can truly predict something like this & warning the public can be dangerous. The ones who boost of knowing the exact time of the Rapture is a false prophet. Only God knows. It's all a hoax.

Harold Camping said an earthquake would hit. He said it will happen because of his math From The Holy Bible. But it's 7:05 here and were fine. It was already on the news that he predicted it in 1994 too so he is a false prophet.

Its a bunch of silly myths. I believe someone just woke up and said the world will end. Its like me saying " in the next 5-10 days, a giant alien will come invade the earth!"
