(For this question I put 0.01 for the first blank and 1*10(exponent 2)
b) Standard form: 0.0412mm= ___________ hm
Scientific Notation: 0.0412mm ___________ hm

3) Each of the following constants can be expressed as ax10b (b is exponent). a is rounded to the nearest whole number and b is an integer. Find a and b.
a) The mass of a neuton is 0.000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 001 674 928 6
b) The mass of the sun is 1 900 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 kg

Scientific notation is a number representation system where there is one non-zero digit to the left of the decimal point and the remaining digits to the right, and then powers of 10 are used to represent the order of magnitude.
a) 5.234 x 10^3
b) 1.23 x 10^-3
c) 2.304 x 10^-7
d) 1.0020123 x 10^7

2. You got the first part of part a) right, but for the second part, you forgot the minus sign in the exponent, should be 1 x 10^-2

b) Not sure what a hm is as your units in the answer.

3) a) 2 x 10^-27 (a = 2, b = -27)
b) 2 x 10^30 (a = 2, b = 30)
