So there is a car being winched up onto a tow truck. It is on a ramp.
What are the main forces acting on the car?
On the vertical plane I know it is support and gravity.
Onthe horizontal plane I know it is pull (from the winch) but what is the other one?
I put gravity (like it rolling back down the ramp to the ground) but that is wrong.
This is really bugging me and I want to know the answer haha.
Thanks in advance

If the winch is pulling and the car is moving, it would be kinetic friction. If the winch is simply applying force to keep the car stationary, static friction will work against it. Don't forget that gravity always acts straight down.
