What are ways to create static electricity

i don't want to know about ones where u do alot of physical actions like rubbing on carpet, on hair and so on, i want to make something that creates static electricity. i don't want van de graaf because i don't know how to stick the motor to the stick to spin it.

This last one will likely tell you where to get the motor and the elastic needed for the Van Der Graff which might change your mind about building one. They are not that complex.

hi rubbing a balloon on the sleeve of a wollen jumper will produce static on the balloons surface so much so it will stick to a wall. on that side of the balloon.
this is an inflated balloon of course.

Wear an rubber shoes, rub you body with few cheeks on a busy street and you will get lots of static electricity..thats it..
