Scariest most paranormal forest know to man

I'm looking for a forest that almost no one will go to beacuase of all kinds of paranormal stuff. Ghost, UFOs, beats, you name it. thanks a lot for the help!!!

The Blair Witch hunt, Burkittsville, Maryland, in Frederick County. This forest is really actually haunted by a spirit that protects the indigenous people of that county. It is very unfriendly to outsiders and will starve them out. The forest will cover up civilization so that you can't see the local market that is just across the street. It is known as being taken down because people that escaped claimed that they were actually about five feet below the land level when they could begin seeing the familiar territory.
They say the forest was always that way and no one actually knows what happened on the land to cause it to be so hostile. The legend began when settlers displaced native americans and began a process of genocide. The spirit continued to affect indigenous black slaves. A rumor went around that the forest would feed young women fleeing social persecution and show them the future (as it stands today). The problem and why it was declared a witch and not a saint is because a few women did reappear after entering the forest and were informed that they were killed without even knowing it. The forest would actually kill the women. One woman lost her leg and was brought back by a man traveling that had seen how the forest tried to swallow her. But the man held on and brought her back on the road and resuscitated her. The women began to fight the man wishing she had died because she could no long tolerate her life and had seen this side of life.

Im sure that there are a variety of forests around the world that do possess such mystery and lore which some may include a story or two involving ghosts or something paranormal. It's difficult to say for sure which is the scariest. I would personally be more afraid of the wildlife and being stalked by a Grizzly Bear than I would a ghost or something else paranormal. You may be more likely to live to tell about a paranormal encounter more than a Bear attack. I have though done a little looking into such mysteries throughout the years and one place in particular that does come up every so often is the Pine Barrens just outside of New Jersey. This is said to be where the "Jersey Devil" inhabits and a location that not many do venture out into especially alone. The Jersey Devil is a sinister being that has it's origins as far back as the Native Americans that lived in the area. Though this is most likely a legend or folklore of some type, Im not so sure Id want to go camping there any time soon. Take care.
