If time stopped completely

If time stopped, we would not about it right? I have read that we would just go about what we are doing with no knowledge whatsoever that time had just stopped and re-started again.
But how could time start again after stopping completely? wouldn't it require a small moment of time between stopping and starting to allow the passage of time to continue? I was thinking if time stopped, it would mean the end of our known universe?

Am i wrong? someone please enlighten me.

A moment ago I was on the other side of the room turning on a light, and I was breathing and thinking. Then I came back here to sit at the computer when time stopped. I wasn't breathing, because that takes time, nor was I thinking because it takes time for my brain to operate. In fact, I wasn't even aware, since that requires brain function too.

After a while, time started up again, and I started breathing and thinking again. But wait ... how long did time stand still? That requires time, and time was turned off.

My conclusion is that time can't stop, and if it did, it could never start again, and even if it could, we'd never know it.

time is just a humans viewpoint of mesuring from a to b. just because we think it exists doesnt make it so.animals have no concept of time as we view it hence time being relative. ie five min feeling like an hour etc.time is just a word to describe a gap between the journey from a to b.
Damn this makes my head hurt.
