Does fire have a freezing point

. Take a piece of wood. If you heat it, it will decompose, it will not melt. Ditto with most plastics.......
My science teacher told me everything has a freezing/melting/gas point. So is fire a gas, so it should have a freezing and melting point, what would be its temperature to melt/freeze?

Actually what he said is that every material has a freezing/melting/gas point. Fire is not an object, it is a process of material reacting with oxygen with air to produce CO2 and water and other materials.

Also many materials on their own do NOT have melting or boiling points, so your teach is also wrong in that respect.. Take a piece of wood. If you heat it, it will decompose, it will not melt. Ditto with most plastics.
