I find silver nitrate listed with detergents as microbial agents, but not as a component of detergents or a replacement as far as laundry.......
How do I use silver nitrate as an alternative to laundry detergent? I searched the Internet "silver nitrate" and it came up with shopping results for silver nitrate detergents along with facts about silver nitrate like "alternative to laundry detergent" anyways, how do I use it, and are there any safety precautions?

THe silver part of silver nitrate is very expensive. Film industry that uses silver compounds recycles the silver from their waste solutions.

Silver nitrate will turn your skin dark. It does kill germs and has been used to kill germs found in the eyes of newborns that got them in the vaginal tract.

I find silver nitrate listed with detergents as microbial agents, but not as a component of detergents or a replacement as far as laundry.
